industrial dust collection system

Industrial Dust Collection System Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for US plant buyers who need an industrial dust collection system matched to named capture points, simultaneous hood combinations and a hopper discharge method. Share quantity, destination and the loaded-filter pressure-loss basis so we can request comparable factory wholesale quotes. We do not run a collector shop, hold inventory or sell under a maker appointment.

Compare procurement cost boundaries

Machine

Collector housing, filter media family, fan and motor, cleaning controls, hopper and any quoted isolation or spark-arrest hardware that must travel with the machine price.

Delivery

Packed dimensions, Incoterm, destination US state or ZIP, and whether duct spools, support steel and explosion vents ship as extra crates rather than as the collector skid.

Site

Foundations, indoor versus outdoor stack, compressed air for pulse cleaning, three-phase supply, duct hangers, commissioning and first-article capture checks at the farthest hood.

No numerical saving claim without comparable quotations.

Site interface register

An industrial dust collection system brief is comparable only when electrical, utility and control connections are written for the same simultaneous-hood duty. Missing those items leaves factories quoting different fans under the same title. Read the capture-point RFQ note before treating a clean-filter brochure curve as the purchase figure.

Connections to confirm
Interface Buyer input
Electrical Three-phase supply voltage, phase count and frequency (Hz) for the fan motor, cleaning compressor starter and any rotary-valve drive.
Utilities Compressed air demand for pulse cleaning, cooling water if a packaged aftercooler is quoted, and extraction points that already exist on the process machines.
Controls PLC interface or analog signals for differential-pressure monitoring, cleaning start, hopper high-level and any interlock that must stop process equipment when capture fails.

Documents that define the capture network

  • Drawing or process description

Provide a hood schedule or process sketch that names each emission point, the material handled, which operations run at the same time, and whether hot or wet streams must be kept separate from dry ambient dust. A collector outline without duct lengths is incomplete.

  • Operating conditions

State particle character, moisture, temperature, connected load target, work envelope around the collector, footprint, and how collected dust must leave the hopper without stopping the process. Filter-fiber diameter is not a substitute for capture efficiency at the hood.

If simultaneous hood combinations or loaded-filter pressure loss are still unknown, mark those fields open. Public collector literature can illustrate questions; it does not transfer another company’s products or appointments to this service. Continue with discharge and protection boundaries when hopper changeout is still unnamed.

Questions that change how factories quote

Which procurement scope is covered by industrial dust collection system?
Connections to confirm
Interface Buyer input
Electrical Write the fan motor kW class you expect to feed, not a catalog horsepower copied from an unrelated housing size.
Utilities Name compressed air quality for pulsing and whether plant air already exists at the proposed pad.
Controls Name whether cleaning is timer, differential-pressure, or both, and who owns the alarm to operations.
Which hood combinations operate simultaneously, and which duties stay with the supplier versus the buyer?

Simultaneous-hood duty sets duct velocity, fan operating point and loaded-filter pressure loss. The equipment supplier confirms collector, fan and quoted isolation hardware against the written duty. The buyer supplies material information, site utilities and the protection assessment needed for combustible dust. FAT and SAT remain with the named factory in any later contract. We do not close those gaps with a percentage saving.
